Senior engineering geologists Eric Downey and Natalie Bews, both of Structural Soils, began the day by joining over 350 suppliers at the ExCeL Centre, London, UK, for the Contamination Expo Series. The event provided the perfect opportunity for Eric and Natalie to build and develop important client relationships that they look forward to expanding in the future.
At the Brownfield Briefing Awards, held at the Grange Tower Hotel, London, UK, Eric and Natalie joined 340 of the UK’s finest consulting geotechnical engineers, including colleagues from Envirolab, which was sponsoring an award. RSK had entered two of the thirteen award categories, with RSK’s digital data collection and presentation solutions in the running for Best Digital Innovation in Brownfield, and Rachel Hagan, RSK geoenvironmental consultant, up for Best Young Brownfield Professional.
Although RSK was not a winner on the night, the event allowed Eric and Natalie to network with many existing and potential clients. Envirolab filled a table with some of their key clients, and Claire Knighton, managing director of Envirolab, presented an award.
