“We’ve recently finished our biggest ever motorway contract, which was on the M1 between junctions 13 and 15, and is part of the smart motorway scheme,” Petar told us. “This initially started as a six-week job for client Geotechnics Ltd that quickly turned into five months! We’ve now moved on to start work on junctions 23a to 25 of the same motorway, with three teams working nightshifts. We’re about half way through this second project.
“We’ve also recently completed some work on the Network Rail Infrastructure North West Electrification Project, again on behalf of Geotechnics. Our latest project is another major contract for IFA Ltd between M6 junctions 13 and14. This will keep two rotary rigs, one coring crew and a window sample crew busy into the summer months and beyond.
“I’d like to say a massive thanks to the teams involved in all four projects.”
In other news, Dynamic Sampling has recently passed its Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme accreditation. This is the sixth year in a row that it has passed without any observations. Recognition should go to document controller Elaine Cooney, who ensured the smooth running of all six.
At the beginning of July, Dynamic Sampling will take delivery of two new Comacchio GEO205 drilling rigs, a new Iveco 5.5-t van and two Toyota Hilux pickups. The company continues to grow in terms of staff and equipment (it now owns in excess of 30 drilling rigs), and in reputation.
