Structural Soils is working with various clients on projects to harness renewable and free energy from many sources. All these are interesting but, of all the possible uses of free energy, surfing must be the most fun! So, as this year’s contribution to our ongoing mission to learn from and with our clients, we offer you the opportunity either to learn to surf or to improve your surfing skills. Kate Bridges, our renewable energy sector manager, would like to invite a limited number of clients and friends to join her in the picturesque village of Croyde Bay, North Devon, on Thursday, 28 June for a day of surfing in the bay’s Blue-Flag-designated clear waters. The day’s meeting point and the timetable will be sent to participants in advance. We will provide a light lunch and refreshments. Surf South West Croyde Surf School will supply all tuition, wetsuits and surfboards.
People of all abilities, be it barney (that’s surfer lingo for a complete beginner) or ripper (surfing to the max), are welcome. The surfing instructors are BSA qualified from Level 1 to 4; so, if you’re already a ripper or feel you’ve hit a plateau, let us know. We can arrange for a surfing coach to push you to the next level.
There are only 10 places, which will be allocated on a first-come basis. Please contact Jade Allen on 0117 9471000 or at jade.allen@soils.co.uk to reserve your place. Directions
